Deadlines carry consequences for affected parties, and nobody minds being alerted to an upcoming deadline for a court or regulatory filing. Never miss an opportunity to inform clients and prospective clients of upcoming deadlines.

Per this Aug. 19 notice in the Federal Register, the U.S. Department of Labor is giving businesses that filed EEO-1 reports (which contain demographic data regarding employees) an opportunity to object to disclosure of the reports in response to a Freedom of Information Act request. Objections must be received by Sept. 19 -- one month away.
