Take advantage of early access to Federal Register materials.

Can't wait to get a jump on your Federal Register reading?

You'll be pleased to learn that most Federal Register notices are available one day in advance of official publication in person at the Office of the Federal Register (800 North Capitol street, NW, Washington, DC) and online at the Federal Register's Public Inspection page.

This information is also available via RSS feed and email subscription.

For legal marketers, advance notice of the next day's Federal Register contents is helpful because it gives writers extra time to put together a good article summarizing the regulatory development. Advance notice can also be used to suggest insider knowledge -- as in, "the agency's proposed rule will be published in tomorrow's Federal Register."
